Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5pm this summer, we're offering reading, writing and art activities at the Cook Library Center. On Tuesday's the activities are in English, and on Thursday's the activities are in Spanish.
This past Tuesday, students participated in activities based on Marcus Pfister's classic children's book - The Rainbow Fish.
After reading the story and doing a writing activity, students worked on their very own rainbow fish collages. The artwork turned out wonderfully, and the students were so proud of themselves! After finishing and enjoying a snack, they rushed off to show mom/dad/brother/sister what they had accomplished!
